Introduction
JOBIT, a job search platform tailored specifically to the needs of software developers. This app boasts many features which include the ability to switch between light and dark mode, another feature that was used in this project is the ability to be able to see the average salary that you can be expecting based on the job title, location and company that has posted the job.
What was the problems?
Problem Statement
The problems that people were facing were not being able to find development jobs in their locations and the salaries that they could be expecting. The problem that we had solve was how were we going to pull in the data for salaries and show this to the user in a beautiful graphical visual. We also needed a way for people to apply and given the timeline we were under we had to find creative solutions to get around this.

How we created their dream!
Process
- Design - It was a seamless process in the design which had been extremely well thought out for user experience and the goal of the product, which was to allow people to search and apply for tech jobs easily.
- Development - First thing we had to decide on, was the tech stack that we were going to use. We came to the conclusion that we didn't need a backend for this project as people were going to be redirected to other job search sites where they could send their applications therefore we just implemented API calls and a frontend to allow a beautiful and smooth experience for the user.
- Deployment - We used the power of Vercel to deploy this app onto the web, there was no custom domain for this project.
